My Split with Ammon Pera and Jason Feingold Was Over Illegal Chat Bugging

Let me begin this post by saying that I have never spied on anyone in Second Life with a chat spy. I do not have the time, patience, or need to do this, and I don't think it is right . I will also tell you that I have IM transcripts to back what I say up now that I will not release.

Now I am not going to name names here. During the month of September 2008, when I sold Club High Energy (a huge mistake on my part in retrospect) to Jason Feingold, Jason started telling me of his planting of spy devices as alts. At first I did not want to deal with this issue.

Then I realized his behaviour become obsessive. Chat spy devices were planted at many places. Then, in early October, when he had his blow up with Tainted Boys over a failed merger, he admitted (this is available in public chat transcripts elsewhere) that he planted chat spy devices in my former Club, High Energy, and was producing chat transcripts to "implicate" people. He admitted this in his group chat conversation when he destroyed my former club (which I handed over to him for the price of land even though I paid over 80,000 to have it built and furnished), and the Tainted Boys group.

In addition, Jason confronted me several times for showing up at other clubs (he felt that I needed to be at High Energy all the time since he himself was not able to pull crowds in), implying that I had conversations with several important people (I will not bring them into this) that showed that my loyalty was not with him. He also spied on one of his former partners. I became aware that Jason's alts had chat bugs all over the place. They may still be there, any club that allows public placement of objects has probably been bugged by Jason.

Now, Jason's behaviour became erratic and highly paranoid in early October. His moods veered from one extreme to another. He told me that Natalie Niven of SL InWorld Today was Ammon Pera's enemy number one, and that he and Ammon saw to it that Natalie's home was bugged, and that her life would be made miserable by their actions. Ammon was obsessed with Natalie for several months, and frankly, became rather boring to be around. Still, I did not believe that he would do this.

I thought Jason did this on his own. And frankly, I was a bit frightened. It is this sort of activity could get you put in prison, let alone thrown out of Second Life. I warned Ammon of this in early October (I thought we were still friends), and I told him that Jason needed professional psychiatric help since he was behaving in this highly paranoid manner.

Ammon exploded at me for "causing Jason's actions in the first place". He agreed that Jason was unstable, but told me that I was not a true friend to him by telling Ammon about the chat spying to begin with. Before I knew it, the InV hate campaign to drive me out of Second Life began.

Now readers, threats have come in to myself and Jago not to tell you this information in the past several hours. Do not worry, the police will be again notified today about this. Jason Feingold has admitted in his Deep Throat Dialogs that Ammon Pera himself is behind much of the chat bugging activity. There are other articles in SL InWorld Today that show that Ammon has produced spy chat transcripts recently and admitted this in conversations with reporters.

So there you have it. Please, as I've said before, watch what you say in chat. If you CAN be spied on in a club you will. Just because someone is not around don't think they do do know what you are saying.

Thanks for listening, Eddi
