You can visit the exterior and interior of this base below which really is one of the very best builds I have seen on Second Life
in four years. The 2040 label is my own. Make sure to visit the other parts of the best, and the well designed interior.

That is Jago and dark-haired Ryce Skytower dancing together at Tadd's last night. Please check out Naked Carl's blog at the link below for more photography:

This is a great machinima, and shows how a collection of still images set to some very atmospheric music can result in a moving machinima. Franzizkus produced this using Microsoft's Windows Live Moviemaker. The Sim was designed by Franzizkus and is owned by Sondra Jevon.

My You Tube channel now has 300,000 views. I started the channel in July 2008 and have posted 156 videos on it in three years.
All but 15 of these videos have something to do with Second Life or Blue Mars (I did several while this virtual world was open.
I reached 100,000 views in November of 2009, and 200.000 in February this year, so viewership has been growing. I actually had 3,400 views in one day this year -- a Chinese web site linked to one of my videos one day for viewing.
I have 164 subscribers from all walks of life on You Tube and want to thank all of you for helping me reach this number. I am going to spare everyone another blog post on this until I reach 500,000 views sometime in 2012.

I am running my first two channel videos below from July 2008. These were actually not done by myself but were done by Jessicaan Wigglesworth; several of my older videos were done by here. They are of Hyacinth Island, a Sim that Ummmm Kazan built for me (and I assisted with) three years ago. I had to sell this sim shortly after these videos were done, but the genius in construction of all the art galleries and shops can be seen. This also served as the first home of Jake's Club in 2008 before it moved to its new destination shortly after. Both videos are set to two great pieces of classical music. I still thing these were two of the most gorgeous sims ever built in Second Life, but like most things, had to be sold because of rising tier.

Celestial Elf, one of Second Life's greatest machinima artists scores yet again with The Lamas Wickerman, celebrating the Celtic Sun God Lugh. Here is what he writes:
Lammas, also called Lughnasadh (Loo-Nah-Sah) in commemoration of The Celtic Sun God Lugh, occurs at the beginning of the harvest season, in the Northern Hemisphere 1st August, in the Southern February 1st.
The word Lammas itself derives from the Old English celebration of loaf mass, harvesting the first grains which by nightfall made the first loaves of the season. As the grain is cut, some is stored to create new life in the spring. To harvest before Lammas could only be because the previous year's harvest had run out, a serious problem in agricultural communities, hence thanks for a harvest on time.
This video appears to be fully or partially filmed in Hinterland, an excellent area of several sims built by Tim Miraseau and highly reminiscent of the coast of Scotland. I photographed this area several times: You can catch my photography (note there are duplicates) here: https://picasaweb.google.com/eddie.thebeaver/HinterlandScotlandInSecondLife02
