| The Brooklyn Bridge at Old New York |
I found these two sims not very evocative of New York City, except for its virtualization of the 130 year-old Brooklyn Bridge. The Brooklyn Bridge at Old New York has some flaws, most notably a third tower that does not exist on the actually bridge. However, it works, and needs to be part of any virtual tour of New York City. The brick construction and Gothic detailing are really well done, as is the lighting of the span which reminded me of the real structure. Some of the gritty streets below are a bit reminiscent of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, a formerly working class neighborhood which has transformed itself into one of New York City’s most artistic and creative districts.
